Serviced and Ready to Play. This is a pre-owned tuba there are dents, dings, scratches and wear in general from prior use. Recently serviced here at JGMP BRASS including degreased, swabbing, new valve felts, 4th valve stem soldered, dent work, stuck slides pulled and cleaned, 2nd slide brass patched, valve condition is fair, moderate silver polishing hand ragging performed.

If you've been looking for one of C.G. Conn's 34J Orchestral Grand 6/4 size BBb Tuba, here it is! It's big not only in size but sound! Made around 1924 in Elkhart, Indiana at the C.G. Conn Factory just a little over 100 years ago. From my understanding in my research these where only made by Conn if a customer requested this model. Awesome old school quality, just checked out in the shop so you know what is going on with it and ready for a new home. Excellent value for a quality made tuba that makes it accessible for an up and coming tuba student to get there own quality instrument or the experienced player that is also a collector. There is no case and no mouthpiece. The current owner is downsizing their tuba size and purchased this years ago from prior owner “Tom” who used this instrument during his tenure with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for approximately 30 years. ​
